Privacy Policy: One Camera
One Camera is a camera app published by Blinqdroid. This policy explains what the app does with your data.
The short version
- One Camera has no account, no sign-in, no analytics and no servers. It collects nothing about you and sends us nothing. We have no way to see what you shoot, and nowhere to put it if we did.
- Your photos and videos never leave your device.
- Location is off unless you turn it on. If you do, the place is written into your own photo or video file and goes nowhere else.
- One exception, and it's yours to choose: if you watch an ad to unlock Pro for six hours, that ad comes from Google AdMob, and Google collects information through it. That is described in full below.
Your photos and videos stay on your device
One Camera never uploads, copies, or transmits the pictures or video you take. Everything you capture is written to your device's own camera folder (DCIM/Camera), alongside anything your phone's built-in camera has taken, and is yours alone.
The ad pass, and what Google collects through it
One Camera Pro can be unlocked for six hours by watching one ad. Ads play only when you ask for one. There are no banners, no interstitials, and nothing appears while you are using the camera. Buy Pro and you will never see one again.
Those ads are served by Google AdMob, using the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google's User Messaging Platform. When an ad is requested, Google receives information from your device in order to serve and measure it:

Blinqdroid does not receive any of this, and we are not told who watched what. What Google does with it is governed by Google's privacy policy; Google explains how it uses data from apps that show its ads at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
- Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland). A consent form appears before any ad is requested, and your choice is respected. If you refuse, no ad is requested, and you can still buy Pro.
- Advertising ID. You can see and reset it, or turn off personalised ads entirely, in your phone's Settings → Google → Ads (Security and privacy → Ads on some phones). You can also manage ad personalisation at myadcenter.google.com.
If you never watch an ad, no ad is ever requested, and none of the above happens.
Location
Off until you turn it on. One Camera can write where a photo or video was taken into the file itself (the JPEG's EXIF, the DNG's metadata, the MP4's location field), so your own library knows where your pictures came from. It is off when the app is installed, it asks for the permission at the moment you switch it on, and refusing leaves it off.
The coordinates never leave your device. They go into your file and nowhere else: not sent, not logged, not shared, and not used for anything but the file being saved. Switch it off and nothing further is recorded. Photos already taken keep what they were saved with, and any gallery app can strip it.
A location fix older than two minutes is not used, so a phone that has been in a pocket writes nothing rather than writing where it last was.
Keep in mind that a photo with a location in it carries that location wherever you share it, unless the app you share it with removes it.
What the app does not do
- No analytics, telemetry or crash reporting. Nothing is measured, recorded or sent to us, not even anonymously, and not even when the app fails.
- No account. You never sign in, and there is nothing to sign in to.
- No identifier of our own. One Camera does not read your Android device ID and does not create an identifier of its own. The advertising ID is used by Google's ad library, not by us.
- No data selling or sharing by Blinqdroid. We hold nothing about you, so there is nothing to sell or share.
- No ads unless you ask for one. See above.
Purchases
One Camera Pro is a single one-time purchase handled entirely by Google Play Billing. Payment details are entered into Google Play and are never seen by, sent to, or stored by One Camera or Blinqdroid. The app asks Google Play whether a purchase exists and receives only a yes or no. Google's own handling of that transaction is covered by Google's privacy policy.
The six-hour ad pass is tracked by a timestamp stored on your own device. Nothing about it is sent anywhere.
Permissions and why they are needed

A few other system permissions, such as scheduling background tasks, come from Google's ads and billing libraries. None of them gives One Camera access to your photos, contacts or files.
Your rights
Blinqdroid holds no personal data of yours, so there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete, and no request you need to make of us. Information Google collects through an ad is held by Google: their privacy policy explains how to see and delete it, and the advertising ID can be reset or blocked from your phone's settings at any time.
Uninstalling the app removes it and its settings from your device.

Children
One Camera is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow children under 13 to use the ad feature.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
